About Caring Hands

Caring Hands Center opened in 2004 at 55 Wingate Street in Haverhill as "Caring Hands Massage Therapy," a single massage therapy practice owned and operated by Alisa Povenmire, LMT.

Between 2004 and 2013, Caring Hands grew into a family of alternative health practitioners who worked to foster a supportive community dedicated to promoting peace in a too-busy world. Each practitioner contributed a unique voice, spirit, and healing modality to the business.

In April of 2013, Alisa decided to simplify her life and go back to the beginning.  She and her good friend and Reiki Master, Sandy Sudol, moved Caring Hands to a new location, 191 Merrimack Street, Suite 508, in Downtown Haverhill.  Caring Hands now resides on the 5th floor of "Haverhill's first skyscraper", what is now the Bank of America Building.

Caring Hands is once again focused on massage practice, and Alisa strives to create an environment where everyone can feel at home and relax as soon as they walk in the door.  The office is close to the Historic Arts District of Haverhill where, in addition to our caring massage, you can find lovely art, beautiful gifts, and great food!
